If there is one tear-jerker dog movie that we can’t get enough of, it is definitely the classic and iconic Hachiko. He is the perfect definition of a loyal canine and growing up, we had always wanted our very own Hachiko by our side. Well, this woman from Russia got a bit lucky to have a Hachiko in her loving husky.
The unnamed brown husky, who is now dubbed as the Russian Hachiko, has been living with his fur mom, Svetlana, for a couple of years now. Even though they had been together for some time now, the pooch still couldn’t get used to being left alone in the house.
Whenever Svetlana goes out for work, her husky would howl for hours on end. He would literally sit in the house and just cry until his mom comes home. This had been a significant problem with the neighbors as a seven-month-old baby and a granny are living right next door.
For fear that they might lose their rental apartment because of the husky’s noise, Svetlana finally came up with a fantastic idea. Instead of leaving the pup alone in the house, she would take him with her where ever she goes, including her workplace.
Every workday, the husky would enthusiastically get up with his mom and walk her to the Mega shopping center, where she works. With his blue sweater and patience, the pooch would lay outside the building and wait for hours.
To reduce his boredom, Svetlana would walk him around for ten minutes every hour and would spend all of her 40-minute lunch break hanging out with the husky. Whenever she is not around, passersby would usually mistake him for a lost dog. That was why Svetlana now hangs a note near the husky to indicate that he is not lost nor abandoned and is merely waiting for her to finish up work. Look at this adorable pup here.
